once in 12 years ~

~ the Neelakurinji flowers bloom once every 12 years ~

~ found on the hills of Munnar and KodaiKanal (south India), these blue and purple flowers last bloomed in 2006 during August to November ~

~ missed their beauty in 1994 and 2006 but will be there in 2018, so join me at Munnar in 11 years time to enjoy this rarity and miracle of nature!
